Such a good idea!
I made mine with almonds, currants, goji berries, a variety of seeds and moist coconut flakes. Delish. But a little too peanut-buttery. Next time I'l lsubstitute a little peanut butter with more dates, more berries, more coconut and maybe some honey. Yummo!

Hi you three!
I have been looking through your recipes for days and today I went out and spent a lot of money stocking up my cupboard with all the dried goods, pulses, seeds, nuts, fruits and everything else to start making your wonderful food!
I just finished making these lovely nut bars, but mine wouldnt set after even 1hr in the fridge. They are just really gooey, kind of like the original peanut butter consistency. I feel like im eating a jar of peanut butter with fruit and nuts mixed in. Is it meant to be like this or a little harder?
Can you recommend how I could make them harder so they are more crunchy?
Thanks guys!

I just followed your recipe, and decided to bake them for a less sticky bar. The whole thing crumbled when cooled and I started to slice it. Don't think the dates and peanut butter were enough to hold it all together :(
Might have to try it again with the cooling option instead. I was salivating looking at your images too!

Hi Marie-Louise!
It makes us so happy that you like our blog and the Sticky Nut Bars;)

You can store them in an airtight container in the fridge for about 1 week.
But in our home they usually disappear after a couple of hours...
God Sommer! :)
