And so it is, that six months of travels have finally come to an end. We are packing our bags for the last time and will soon board the first out of three planes that will take us home. We are overwhelmed with impressions, and will probably need the following six months to realize what we have experienced together. It has been the most amazing journey we have ever done in our lives. So far. One thing that we have learned from this trip is that it will not be our last. But now we really look forward to coming home. Spending some time with our families. Cooking dinners in our own apartment. Wearing clothes that haven’t spent the last six months being thrown in and out of a backpack. And being able to create new recipes on the blog.

A big Thank you! to all of you who have followed us on our journey. Your comments, e-mails and tweets have helped us find destinations, farmer’s markets, islands, streets and restaurants that we would never have found ourselves. And to all of you who invited us to lunch, dinners, thanksgivings, let us sleep in your apartments, guest rooms and on your couches. We are forever grateful.

See you next time in Sweden, with a whole batch of new recipes.

Ps. Here is a quick recipe for our favorite fruit shake on the trip. It’s super nutritious and tastes like the most fantastic milkshake. Enjoy!

Dragon Fruit & Coconut Shake
2 glasses

1 banana
1 dragon fruit
1 cup fresh coconut juice (you can also use coconut milk)
1/2 cup fresh coconut meat
1 cup ice cubes

Put all the ingredients in a blender and mix for 30 seconds. Serve it in high glasses with a straw and a flower to get that spring feeling!
