They look delicious! Will try it during the weekend.
Have never heard of the swedish version before though…
These are delicious. Made them last night. I would use food processor next time as the blender wasnt getting to all the pieces (not enough water?) — Can you tell us the other combos you made (such as chilli).. sounds yummy.
thx m
Hi M, we stir it around with a spoon if it gets stuck in the blender, but a food processor works fine as well.
To make them with coffee, just use a big shot of espresso instead of the water.
Add some mentha to the original recipe for a fresh twist.
We have published a recipe and picture of the chili version right here.
Enjoy!

Never heard of this idea before but sounds fabulous! The truffles look beautiful
Wow. You got me at the 7 minute remark. This is a great idea.
Oneshotbeyond, Lucy and Michellee: Thanks for your kind comments. We actually make these truffles quite (very) often, and we never get tired of them.

Great minds think alike!! I just read your comment and had to check out your truffles. I’ve seen several variations around lately – I like that you mix the cocoa in yours.
Thanks for stopping by my place.
What great goodies!! These will be incredible treats for when the peoples invade over the next couple weeks! hehehe
I absolutely love dates…what an odd thing to love, right? I call them nature’s candy. I love how these only take seven minutes, the one time I made truffles was endless, rolling them into balls etc. Will definitely try these. Love the photo!
My, these are pretty. Thanks so much for pointing them out to me! I’m bookmarking them for the next time I need a hostess gift. Great variations.
Pretty interesting recipe and loved how you rolled it in cocoa powder and coconut. Thanks for sharing.
Cool pic ! I’m gonna make this right away for my mom’s birthday. I don’t have coconut oil. Gonna replace it with Clarified Butter !!
Wow, these are fabulous and they are raw. I should try this soon.
I’ve recently gotten into these raw date-nut-chocolate balls myself. So good!
These look delicious…and dare I say healthy too? I cannot WAIT to make these. Thanks for the recipe.
Wow, these are delish. Used canola in place of coconut oil and they turned out fantastic. Will definitely make again.
